What is the difference between LGC and LGM?

LGC stands for LuckyGirl Cult and LGM is our sister line. It stands for Luxa's Grandma. Luxa is our creative director's little chihuahua and LGM is all handmade by Laurel's Mom.

Who started LuckyGirl Cult Clothing?

LGC was started by Laurel Yando when she was 16 and frustrated with the state of affordable options for her inner fashionista. Not only were clothes ugly and ridden with terry cloth (it was 2005, a simpler time) but they weren't made for anyone past a size 8. Not only was Laurel dealing with being plus sized in a normal sized teenage world, she also had to deal with the tents that the plus size stores toted at "dresses" So she decided to change it.
